Showers end tonight, skies gradually clear tomorrow in Metro Detroit
Cooler and drier air is on the way to Metro Detroit behind a cold front.
TONIGHT:
It will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms moving northeastward. Most of the rain activity will move east out of Michigan after midnight. There is a slight chance of showers lingering during the overnight hours. Lows will be in the mid 50s to 60 degrees. Winds will be out of the southwest at 8 to 16 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
TOMORROW (TUESDAY):
A cold front will sweep through the area during the early morning hours. We will have drier and cooler air. The day will begin with mostly cloudy skies and become mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Southwesterly winds will be 10 to 15 mph.
TOMORROW NIGHT:
It will be mostly clear with lows around 50 degrees.
Dry conditions are likely to continue into Thursday, but rain chances will pick up Thursday night. Plan for showers on Friday and a slight chance of an isolated shower on Saturday and Sunday. Highs will range from the mid 70s to near 80 degrees for the rest of the workweek.
