DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons have made three trades in the past 24 hours as general manager Troy Weaver tweaks the worst roster in the NBA ahead of the deadline.

Early Wednesday afternoon, the Pistons traded Kevin Knox, this year’s second-round pick via the Wizards, and the draft rights to Gabriele Procida to the Utah Jazz for Simone Fontecchio, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Fontecchio is a restricted free agent after the season, but the Pistons hope to keep him around long-term, the report states.

A few hours later, Woj reported that the Pistons were trading Monte Morris to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 2030 second-round pick, Shake Milton, and Troy Brown.

Then, on Thursday morning, the Pistons received Danuel House and a second-round pick via the Knicks from the Philadelphia 76ers. Woj said the move was made to clear salary cap space for the 76ers.

So, all in all, the Pistons have traded:

  • Monte Morris.
  • Kevin Knox.
  • 2024 second-round pick from Wizards.
  • Draft rights to Gabriele Procida.

To receive:

  • Simone Fontecchio.
  • Shake Milton.
  • Troy Brown.
  • Danuel House.
  • 2024 second-round pick from Knicks.
  • 2030 second-round pick from Timberwolves.

Very exciting times for the Pistons, who are a scorching 3-4 in their last seven games after starting the season 4-39.
