Bluey’s Big Play (Fox Theatre), through Saturday: See Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chili like you’ve never seen them before. The Heelers are hitting the road for a new live show with puppetry, live actors and familiar sets. Bluey’s Big Play features a brand-new story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and new music by Bluey composer Joff Bush. Tickets start at $15. Multiple showtimes. Showtimes and tickets here.

Ann Arbor Film Festival (Michigan Theatre), through Sunday: Celebrating over 60 years of innovative storytelling, the Tree Town-based festival is back with both virtual and in-person events. Over 110 avant-garde films from around the world compete for one of two dozen awards including best experimental film, best documentary and most technically innovative film. Corktown Music Festival, Thursday to Saturday: Dozens of bands will be rocking out over the weekend across four venues for a showcase of local talent that will be bigger and better than ever. This year’s lineup includes acts like Slumlord Radio, Joe Kidd & Shiela Burke, The Sugar Bombs, D-Punk and so much more. Weekend pass is $20 or single day passes available for $15. More info here.

NCAA Regionals (Little Caesars Arena), Friday & Sunday: March Madness has made its way to Detroit with several Sweet 16 games played inside Little Caesars Arena. On Friday, Purdue will take on Gonzaga, followed by Tennessee and Creighton. On Sunday, LCA will host one of the Elite 8 games. Get ticket here.

Bunnyville (Detroit Zoo), Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Your weekend just got more egg-citing. Hop on over to the zoo for some springtime family fun. Grab your complimentary bunny ears and search for the golden eggs. Stop by any of the “ed-zoo-cation” stations and learn more about your fuzzy friends. Bunny Bash (Heritage Park Petting Farm), Saturday 11am: Join the spring bunny and its furry pals at the petting zoo that includes a fun egg hunt. Each child can take home up to 10 eggs. Don’t forget to grab a photo with the big bunny. Admission is $5 each. Free for 1 and under. More info here.

Easter Fun Fest (Crowell Recreation Center), Saturday 1 to 5 p.m.: Looking for free fun in the D? Head to the Crowell Recreation Center for a free Easter carnival. You’ll find tons of activities for the whole family including a big top circus, carnival rides and interactive games. Head into Bunny Land where you can take pictures with the Easter Bunny and find a bunny petting zoo. Stick around for giveaways from the NFL Draft and the Detroit Lions. Admission is free. Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis Battlehawks (Ford Field), Saturday 4 p.m.: Since merging XFL and the USFL, the UFL will kickoff the season this Saturday with an exciting matchup between the Panthers and the Battlehawks. After this game, you’ll have four more chances to catch the Panthers in action here in Detroit. Tickets start at $22. Get tickets here.

Mean Girls Charity Screening with Tim Meadows (Emagine Royal Oak), Saturday 6:30 p.m.: What’s more fetch than watching the new Mean Girls movie on the big screen? How about watching it with star Tim Meadows, who played Principal Duvall in both the original 2004 comedy and the latest film based off the Broadway musical. The Highland Park native will be hosting a live Q&A after the movie with host Marc Evan Jackson. Proceeds will benefit the Detroit Creativity Project. Tickets start at $20. Get tickets here.

Eggstravaganza (Canterbury Village), Saturday & Sunday: It’s a bird, it’s a plane… it’s brightly colored Easter eggs! Grab your basket and get ready to run as hundreds of eggs are dropped from above by helicopter. Collect them and trade them in for candy and prizes from the shops inside the Village. Then, stick around for the petting zoo, character meet and greets, blowup bunnies and your chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Separately ticketed Brunch with Bunny events are also available.
