Brooklyn Fisher performed with Stevie Wonder

DETROIT – Brooklyn Fisher is a little girl with a big voice and her musical journey is just beginning because she hopes to make an upcoming appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Brooklyn may be seven years old, but the young star from Detroit's west side already has some big accomplishments under her belt, including a performance with legendary singer Stevie Wonder. Brooklyn took the stage in Los Angeles to perform with Wonder in December of 2012.

Now the young singer is hoping to catch the eye of The Ellen DeGeneres Show by spreading her voice on YouTube. Brooklyn is trying to reach 50,000 page views in an effort to appear on Ellen's show. To support Brooklyn's goal, click here.

Brooklyn's talent is already being recognized in her hometown of Detroit. She received the Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Council in February of 2013.

Brooklyn's future plans include a March 9th performance at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York. The seven-year-old is also auditioning for the role of Nala in the Lion King.

The Detroit star started singing at the age of two. Brooklyn attends Fenkell Gospel Temple Church where she has been singing since she was five years old.
