A $20 donation provides for bowling, pizza, pop and tickets for prizes; all for a very good cause.

Woehlke was killed battling a fire that consumed a portion of a strip mall on Wayne Road. He died from smoke inhalation, soot inhalation and thermal injuries, according to the Wayne County Morgue.

He was also the first firefighter to be lost in the line of duty in the Wayne-Westland Fire Department's 47-year history.

If you can't make the event you can still donate online at the Fallen Firefighter Brian Woehlke Charity Fund.
