Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise grows leaps and bounds

Tens of thousands packed Gratiot Avenue to take in the sights & sounds

CLINTON TOWNSHIP – The Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise was a great time.

The food was excellent, the music was good (first song I heard was "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys -- can't beat that), and the rides were awesome.

Shanon Caramagno-Rupkus, chairman of the Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise, said,"We can honestly say this has been our biggest and best Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise yet and we are thrilled, but of course how could we not be?"

"We had well over 180,000 families visiting the strip -- at least double if not triple the classic & hot rods cars cruising the strip and we were hard pressed to find any businesses that didn't participate whether with private parties or public ones."

"Our McLaren kids area, Dorian Ford Midway, and Cruise Car Show had record numbers in participation. Regardless if they cruised Gratiot Avenue today to bring back some nostalgic memories or it was their first time hitting our strip, we are confident that they couldn't help but see why Gratiot Avenue is the heart and soul of Clinton Township."

"We are so thankful for all the businesses, residents and cruisers that make Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise's, Macomb County's biggest and best single day event"
