More than $400K raised for charities during Mitch Albom S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon

Event was all day Tuesday at Somerset Collection in Troy

DETROITMore than $400,000 was raised Tuesday during an all-day event with Local 4 and Mitch Albom.

The S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon was held from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Somerset Collection in Troy.

Albom and Local 4 were live the whole time to raise funds for Detroit's neediest community members.

There was a superstar lineup of sports and celebrity guests. Plus, some very special local families were given new homes for the holidays through the Working Homes, Working Families organization.
