CONCORD, Mich. – Bruce Barrows will be the only member of his class at his 80-year reunion next month at Concord High School.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports that the 98-year-old Spring Arbor man is the school's oldest living alumnus. He is the last surviving member of 23 people who graduated in the class of 1933.

He will not be alone, however. It will also honor the classes of 1938, 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973. 1978, 1983, and 1988.

Barrows says he met his wife at the school. She died 11 years ago.
