Detroit man: Pickup truck has been in repair shop for 14 months

Help Me Hank gets to bottom of auto repair shop delay

DETROIT – Help Me Hank is working to rescue a man who is stuck riding his bike everywhere because his pickup truck has been in the shop for 14 months.

Roy Hunt said he's tired of delays and excuses. Hank Winchester visited the auto repair shop to get some answers.

Hunt took his truck to Wade's Auto Repair on Gratiot in Detroit last June. He paid $600 down for repairs estimated to cost $1,400.

He said he's been waiting ever since, and he's tired of it.

Hank called Wade a few weeks ago to check the status of the truck. Wade knew Local 4 was investigating.

You can watch the conversation in the video posted above.
