The Plain White T's first gained national prominence with their song "Hey There Delilah" in 2007. The single, which went to No. 1 in 13 countries, was the fourth song in history to sell over 3 million digital downloads.

"The Plain White T's are the perfect addition to the entertainment lineup during this year's Grand Prix," said Bud Denker, Chairman of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. "They are a terrific band with some great songs that will certainly keep our fans excited at the Motor City Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage heading into the final race of an action-packed weekend."

The Plain White T's will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, following the first race of the day featuring the cars of the Pirelli World Challenge Series and before the final IndyCar Series race of the unique doubleheader weekend takes the green flag at 3:30 p.m.

The band joins an impressive Grand Prix entertainment schedule that included rocker Bret Michaels on Saturday and a number of local acts performing throughout the weekend on the Motor City Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage.
