DETROIT – Actress Doris Roberts has died at the age of 90, according to reports.
Roberts, perhaps best known as Ray Romano's mother in "Everybody Loves Raymond," died in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Her other sitcom roles included parts in “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” “Barney Miller,” “Soap,” and more.
There was no immediate information on the cause of death.
Patricia Heaton, who played Raymond's wife in the hit sitcom wrote on Twitter: “Truly the end of an era. My wonderful TV mother-in-law and ELR nemesis Doris Roberts was a consummate professional from whom I learned so much. She was funny and tough and loved life, living it to the fullest."
