Looking for the best ice cream in Michigan? Try Blank Slate Creamery in Ann Arbor, according to a list of the best ice cream shops in America. 

The site SpoonUniversity.com included Blank Slate on its list of the best ice cream shops in all 50 states.

Blank Slate, at 300 W. Liberty St. in Michigan, offers a lengthy menu of original flavors like balsamic strawberry and lavender lemon honey, plus vegan offerings, like blackberry riesling sorbet. 

The shop prides itself on using additive-free milk and cream from cows raised hormone free, according to its website. They also use pure cane sugar and source some ingredients in Michigan. Local 4 New Morning featured Blank Slate Creamery and owner Janice Sigler this week:
