Art Meets Science: New twist on medical arts

For the second year, the Art Meets Science project is pairing renowned scientists with local artist for a new twist on medical arts.

The project is a fundraiser and part of the Alfred E. Taubman Medical Research Center project to use the collaborative efforts of these master minds of art and science to come up with saleable art. The money raised is money that grants science a way forward -- unusual or interesting, off beat and shoot-for-the-stars kind of science that can yield cures, processes, best practices, health, medicines, life.

The two sides of the brain -- most literally -- are working together for the good of all man and woman.

This year, you don't have to attend the gala at the DIA to bid on the art, you can do so from the comfort of your own home by using this link.
