Bobbie Que’s is located in West Bloomfield

Whether you’re in the mood for some southern barbeque or if you’re looking for Jamaican cuisine, there’s a new spot in West Bloomfield that aims to satisfy your cravings. It’s all on the menu at Bobbie Que’s.

Chef Bobbie Patterson explained that half of his family is Jamaican and after years of making separate cuisines, they decided to come up with a concept to combine two cuisines in one restaurant. That was how Bobbie Que’s came to life.

Some of the most popular dishes at Bobbie Que’s are oxtail, jerk wings, jerk chicken, and curry chicken, Chef Bobbie said. Side dishes range from mac and cheese to fried plantains, jasmine rice, and turnip and mustard greens. Bobbie Que’s also offers flavorful drinks, including sorrel, which comes from the Hibiscus drink. Another option is a ginger beer, which is non-alcoholic.

Bobbie Que’s is located at 7412 Haggerty Road in West Bloomfield. Watch the video above to learn more about Chef Bobbie and his menu.
