Flashpoint 5/28/2017: Manchester attack, Mackinac Policy Conference

This week on Flashpoint, Devin Scillian sits down at the roundtable to discuss the recent attack at Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester, which took the lives of 22 people.

The ISIS statement claming responsibility for the attack said that it happened at a gathering of the crusaders in Manchester. That's a strange way to put it being that the crowd was filled mostly with young girls who wanted to dance to pop tunes.

Also to be previewed today: this year's Mackinac Policy Conference.

This week's guests include:

  • Amer Zaher - Adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy
  • Allan Gale - With the Jewish Community Relations Council
  • Saeed Kahn - Professor of Near East and Asian Studies at Wayne State University
  • Osama Sublani - Publisher of the Arab American News
