SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Controversy has surrounded synthetic marijuana since it's first release. And now, residents of Michigan are looking to ban the product from the state after deaths and violent related incidents have been connected to it.
The toxic drug has many different names, but most notable is 'K2' or 'Spice.' Residents from Macomb County gathered at a CITGO gas station and Woodstock Smoke Shop Saturday in Shelby Township on Van Dyke Avenue to protest the sales of the product.
