Popular brewery closing Macomb County taproom

Company announced the closure on social media

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – Dragonmead Brewery is closing its St. Clair Shores location.

Dragon’s Landing opened along the Nautical Mile in 2019. The taproom’s last day in operation will be March 24, 2024.

The company announced the closure on social media saying, “It has been the most difficult decision we have had to make as a company but as our lease renewal approaches at the end of March, we realized it would be irresponsible for the company as a whole to continue operations at Dragons Landing.”

The original Dragonmead Brewery location in Warren has been in operation for 26 years and will remain open.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our St. Clair Shores location, Dragons Landing. It has been the most difficult decision we have had to make as a company but as our lease renewal approaches at the end of March, we realized it would be irresponsible for the company as a whole to continue operations at Dragons Landing. Our last day of service in St. Clair Shores will be March 24th.

“The Original Dragonmead Brewery in Warren will continue to serve our award winning beers, just as it has for 26 years. As always, all Dragon Guard memberships will be honored at the Warren location.

“We would like to use this opportunity to thank our incredible staff, friends, and customers for the four fun years and are honored to have been part of the St. Clair Shores community.

“We hope to see you for the last days of Dragons Landing and hope you will continue to visit us at Dragonmead Brewery.”
