St. Clair County man arrested after allegedly being found with pills, knife, multiple credit cards

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 21-year-old man from Allenton was arrested Monday, April 22, after reportedly being found with pills and multiple credit cards.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at about 7:45 p.m. regarding a suspicious man walking around Seven Lakes Drive in Washington Township. The caller reportedly said the man was acting unusual.

According to authorities, the man was unsteady on his feet when deputies arrived. He allegedly told them he was working for a contractor in the area and was waiting on a ride.

The sheriff’s office said he admitted to using whippets in a porta potty before the deputies arrived.

Deputies searched him and reportedly found a large kitchen knife, ammunition, pills “packaged in a manner common for distribution” and 15 credit cards with different names.

Jessie Webber was taken into custody and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, prohibited use of chemical agents and two counts of delivering or manufacturing a controlled substance.

His bond was set at $7,500, no 10% and remains held at the Macomb County Jail.
