Watch: Ice Cube discusses Detroit show, death of former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller

Famed rapper Ice Cube sat down with Local 4 to discuss his upcoming show and the death of former N.W.A. manager, Jerry Heller.

"I think we're going to take it back a few decades tonight," Ice Cube said during the interview with Local 4 about his concert, which takes place Saturday night at Chene Park.

"You can't beat the people in Detroit," he said. "I've always had a special place in my heart for Detroit."

He also commented on the passing of former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller, who had a rocky relationship with the famed rapper.

"It's just ironic that I'm here tonight," he said. "We've come a long way, and you know, the passing of Jerry Heller is a thing, that's a part of life. You know, you come here to pass away. We're all going to definitely reflect on our time with Jerry, our ups and our downs."

Heller experienced a heart attack while driving. He later died at a hospital in Thousand Oaks, California.
