DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons have sent two veteran shooters to the Knicks for four players and two draft picks in a mini blockbuster of a trade.

Detroit has sent Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to New York in exchange for Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono, and two second-round picks, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski.

Bogdanovic was averaging 20.2 points per game for the Pistons while shooting 41.5% from three-point range. Burks averaged 12.6 points per game and made 40.1% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

At 7-43 on the season, the Pistons are once again sellers at the deadline, and general manager Troy Weaver is desperately trying to make something out of the worst roster in the league.

Grimes, 23, was averaging 7.3 points in 20.2 minutes per game for the Knicks while shooting 39.5% from the floor and 36.3% from three.

Flynn, 25, played 4.4 minutes per game in 14 games before the trade.

Fournier, 31, had only appeared in three games this season.

Arcidiacono, 29, has played a total of about 47 minutes this season, missing all six of his shot attempts.

This is the fourth deal made by the Pistons over the past 24 hours.

Early Wednesday afternoon, the Pistons traded Kevin Knox, this year’s second-round pick via the Wizards, and the draft rights to Gabriele Procida to the Utah Jazz for Simone Fontecchio, according to Wojnarowski.

Fontecchio is a restricted free agent after the season, but the Pistons hope to keep him around long-term, the report states.

A few hours later, Woj reported that the Pistons were trading Monte Morris to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 2030 second-round pick, Shake Milton, and Troy Brown.

Then, on Thursday morning, the Pistons received Danuel House and a second-round pick via the Knicks from the Philadelphia 76ers. Woj said the move was made to clear salary cap space for the 76ers.

So, all in all, the Pistons have traded:

  • Bojan Bogdanovic.
  • Alec Burks.
  • Monte Morris.
  • Kevin Knox.
  • 2024 second-round pick from Wizards.
  • Draft rights to Gabriele Procida.
