DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings will be without forward Pavel Datsyuk on Tuesday night as they travel to play the New York Islanders.
The team said Tuesday that Datsyuk is day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Datsyuk had the game winner in overtime on Sunday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He has at least one point in 16 of his past 19 games and leads the Red Wings with 43 points.
Datsyuk has played 41 games this season.
