DETROIT – Max Scherzer will start on the mound for the Detroit Tigers in Game 1 of their American League Division Series against the Baltimore Orioles, manager Brad Ausmus announced on Tuesday.
Pitchers Justin Verlander, David Price and Rick Porcello will follow in Games 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

Game 1 (Baltimore): Thursday, Oct. 2
Game 2 (Baltimore): Friday, Oct. 3
Game 3 (Detroit): Sunday, Oct. 5
*Game 4 (Detroit): Monday, Oct. 6
*Game 5 (Baltimore): Wednesday, Oct. 8
According to ESPN, if Kansas City wins the AL wild card, Game 1 of the ALDS will be at 5:37 p.m. Thursday. If Oakland wins the wild card, Game 1 will be at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday.
