Tigers plan to 'reboot,' taking offers for Price, Cespedes

Tigers President/GM Dave Dombrowski confirmed trade rumors

DETROIT – Are the Detroit Tigers buyers or sellers? It looks to be sellers, according to team president Dave Dombrowski.

Dombrowski confirmed to reporters on Wednesday that the team is "rebooting," and will listen to trade offers for starting pitcher David Price and outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, who are set to become free agents after this year.

"We're only going to make a trade if we think it makes sense for us," Dombrowski said. "But we think it gives us a chance to restock our club."

The team will likely see a flurry of teams looking to acquire the two Tiger stars. The MLB trade deadline is Friday, July 31, at 4 p.m. ET.
