Police also say Young was charged with four counts of battery of school, park or hospital property. Those counts are misdemeanors.

The former second round pick was arrested on July 9, a day before he was scheduled for a pretrial appearance in Newport Beach, Calif., where he is currently facing four felonies and several other charges, which Young has pleaded not guilty to.

Young recorded 990 yards and 10 touchdowns over two seasons with the Lions after being drafted in the second round out of Boise State in 2011. He was released in 2013.
