Sunday Night Football Bus in Detroit for Lions home opener

DETROIT – The NBC Sunday Night Football Bus will be making stops across metro Detroit this weekend. The bus is in town for the Lions home opener at Ford Field Sunday night. The Lions (0-2) are hosting Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (2-0). 

On Friday, the bus will tour the city making stops at Campus Martius, the Riverfront, Eastern Market and Ford Field from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. It will then head to the Boys & Girls Club - Dauch Campus in Detroit.

The bus will pay a visit to the Lions practice facility in Allen Park Saturday for the "All Pro Dad Lions Family Experience." That's followed by a stop at the XFINITY retail store in Plymouth. It will be open to fans starting at 4 p.m.

On Sunday, the bus will be a part of the tailgating experience in Lions Pride Plaza.

Sunday night's game will air on WDIV Local 4 starting with an hour-long newscast at 6 p.m.
