DETROIT – The Grand Rapids Griffins and Toronto Marlies get the chance to be part of one of the biggest outdoor hockey festivals when they meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Comerica Park.
The American Hockey League teams meet in Detroit just a day before their NHL affiliates, the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs, faceoff at the Big House in Ann Arbor for the 2014 Winter Classic.
