DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings will open their 2015-16 preseason on Sept. 22 when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Red Wings released their entire preseason schedule on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks will repay the visit on Sept. 23 at Joe Louis Arena. The former division rivals meet only twice during the regular season since the NHL realignment. So, at least fans will have a chance to see the Original Six teams face off in a couple preseason games this year.
