Mayor Mike Duggan to tour, preview Detroit Auto Show

Show gives huge boost to local economy

Detroit – Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan will be given a guided tour of the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), which provides a huge boost to the local economy.

The mayor, who took office last week, will be escorted by NAIAS Chairman Bob Shuman and Vice Chairman Scott LaRiche on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The tour will provide a last-minute, behind-the-scenes look at the buildup of one of the world's top auto shows, as well as a glimpse of exciting physical improvements at Detroit's Cobo Center.
