Donovan Peoples-Jones and Aubrey Solomon gave Michigan its first class with multiple five-star players in the modern recruiting era.

One of the most notable position groups in the class is at wide receiver, where Michigan landed five players -- Peoples-Jones, four-stars Tarik Black, Nico Collins and Oliver Martin and three-star Brad Hawkins. With starting wide receivers Amara Darboh and Jehu Chesson graduating, this loaded class has a chance to make an early impact on the offense.

Harbaugh also landed several players who were the best in their individual states. Peoples-Jones is No. 1 in Michigan, Black No. 1 in Connecticut, Benjamin St-Juste No. 1 in Canada, Kwity Paye No. 1 in Rhode Island, Drew Singleton No. 1 in New Jersey, Oliver Martin No. 1 in Iowa and O'Maury Samuels No. 1 in New Mexico.

At individual positions, Michigan landed the No. 1 wide receiver, No. 1 center, No. 2 defensive tackle, No. 5 weak-side defensive end, No. 4 and No. 8 outsider linebackers, No. 5 pro-style quarterback, No. 9 inside linebacker and No. 1 punter.

Only Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia and USC finished the season with class ranked higher than Michigan's. LSU, Florida State, Oklahoma, Auburn and Florida round out the top 10.

The Wolverines dominated Michigan, landing the top six players in the state and seven of the top eight. Three of Michigan's in-state recruits came from Detroit, one from West Bloomfield, one from Flint, one from St. Joseph, one from Oak Park and one from Berrien Springs.
