Just days after suffering their first loss of the season, the Michigan Wolverines have reportedly taken another devastating blow.
Starting quarterback Wilton Speight, who appeared to injure his left shoulder area late in the game against Iowa, will reportedly miss the rest of the regular season, according to MGoBlog.com.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh had said Monday that Speight would take a couple days off practice and that he might be a "game-time decision" this weekend. But it was announced Monday afternoon that Speight would miss Michigan's final home game against Indiana.
Harbaugh refuted reports that Speight would miss the rest of the season while speaking on the Inside Michigan Football radio show.
"(I) have not heard (Speight is) out for the season," Harbaugh told Jon Jansen. "That would be incorrect."
Speight struggled in the team's first loss, completing just 11 of 26 passes for 103 yards and an interception. The offense mustered just one touchdown and 13 points in their worst performance of the year.
Overall, Speight has been very productive in his first year as a starter, completing 62.3 percent of his passes for 2,156 yards, 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He was beginning to show huge signs of improvement after the bye week, completing 51 of 72 passes for 859 yards and four touchdowns.
Without Speight, the Wolverines would likely turn to redshirt junior quarterback John O'Korn, who has completed 13 of 18 passes for two touchdowns in limited action this season. O'Korn spent a season and a half as Houston's starting quarterback. He threw for 3,117 yards and 28 touchdowns as a freshman before losing his job as a sophomore.
O'Korn lost the offseason quarterback competition to Speight, despite adding another dimension to the offense with his scrambling and ability to extend plays.
Michigan plays its final home game Saturday against Indiana before finishing the regular season in Columbus against Ohio State.
