Michigan State earns No. 2 seed, will play MTSU in NCAA Tournament

DETROIT – The Michigan State Spartans will play the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the selection committee announced Sunday evening.

Michigan State was awarded the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region of the bracket. MSU will play its first two games in St. Louis before moving to Chicago for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds.
