Here are the latest rumors and news with the Detroit Lions:
UPDATE: Ian Rapoport reports the Lions have agreed in principle on a contract with offensive tackle Ricky Wagner. It will surpass $9M per year.
Wagner comes from the Baltimore Ravens and is ranked 18th overall tackle by Pro Football Focus.
The Detroit Lions are eyeing cornerback Logan Ryan, according to the Boston Globe. The general feeling around the league is that Logan Ryan will price himself out of the Patriots’ market — potentially $10 million per year — and three different sources mentioned the Lions, who need a cornerback and are run by GM Bob Quinn, a former longtime Patriots scout.
The Detroit Free Press reports that the Lions are not expected re-sign guard Larry Warford or defensive end Devin Taylor.
The team will also need to decide on re-signing Riley Reiff, who is drawing interest from other teams.
Lions have also been mentioned in the mix for recently release tackle D.J. Fluker.
ESPN also reports the Lions have interest in wide receiver Andre Holmes.
