Red Wings game resumes after power outage at Joe Louis

DETROIT – The power in Joe Louis Arena went out Sunday just 29 seconds into the Red Wings' game against the Vancouver Canucks. The game was suspended while the outage was addressed, but resumed at 2:45 p.m.

Detroit is riding a three-game winning streak after a comeback victory Friday against the New Jersey Devils. After trailing 4-1 in the game, the Red Wings forced overtime and scored the only shootout goal to win 5-4.

The hot streak has vaulted the Wings into third place in the Atlantic Division behind Tampa Bay and Montreal.
