NFL refs have admitted to missing a crucial facemask penalty against Seattle on a touchdown pass against the Lions in the first half of the Lions-Seahawks game.

NBC reported after halftime that refs admitted to Lions head coach Jim Caldwell that they missed the call.

Defensive pass interference was called on the Lions, but no flag on Seattle.

The penalty would have offset with the interference call, and triggered a replay of the 4th down play.
