WARREN, Mich. – An 86-year-old woman was killed Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash in Warren, police said.

A 2010 Lincoln Town Car driven by an 86-year-old man sped out of the McDonald's parking lot at 4240 14 Mile Road at 11:53 a.m., police said.

Witnesses said the Lincoln was pulling out at a high speed when it was hit by three vehicles on 14 Mile Road.

The driver and his 86-year-old female passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead, police said.

None of the other drivers or passengers were seriously injured, officials said.

The crash has shut down 14 Mile Road at Ryan Road in Warren.

A silver car and a silver minivan -- both with serious front-end damage -- were moved from the scene by tow trucks.

A purple car appeared to have had its front passenger door ripped off in the crash. There was severe damage to the right side of the car. It was also brought away on a tow truck.

The crash is still under investigation.
