Semi truck partially hangs from I-96 overpass at Newburgh Road in Livonia

LIVONIA, Mich. – A semi truck trailer partially hanging off an overpass at Newburgh Road and I-96 on temporarily forced the closure of eastbound I-96 on Monday morning.
Traffic was being forced off eastbound I-96 at Newburgh Road. A tow truck crew eventually freed the truck's trailer from the overpass ledge. No injuries were reported.

The eastbound side of I-96 has since reopened to traffic.
