Windy conditions to last through weekend

4Warn Weather – We’re off to a soggy start on this Friday morning, but you’ll still need the sunglasses today!

Breezy conditions are on tap today with westerly gusts of 25-30 mph. Highs will be in the upper 50s, but will feel a little cooler with the wind chill.

Cool, breezy weekend ahead

We’re anticipating a cool, dry, and breezy weekend ahead.

Highs on Saturday struggle to reach 50 degrees.

There is the potential for some frost to develop Sunday morning. Sunday will end up being the pick day of the weekend, as we’ll rise to seasonal low 60s with sunshine.

Rain chances return next week

Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms will arrive late Tuesday.

We’ll dip back into the 50s behind that rainmaker, but we will bounce back to around 70 degrees by next weekend.

Elsewhere ...

Nationally, scattered showers and thunderstorms push into the Appalachians and Southeast on Friday. Wet snow and a wintry mix will move over the central high Plains on Saturday. Heavy rain will develop Saturday over parts of Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley. It will be unseasonably warm across much of the South and Southwest as below average temperatures expand throughout the Great Plains and Midwest.
