Chilly, breezy Saturday as sun returns

Highs in the 40s

DETROIT – Clouds will break up Saturday morning as temperatures dip to near 30 degrees at dawn. Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be breezy. Wearing windbreakers and coats are a good idea with a west-northwest wind of 10 to 20 mph.

Tigers' fans will want to wear their favorite Tigers jackets, hats and knit gloves to stay warm at the 1 p.m. game against the Orioles at Comerica Park. The temperature during the first pitch will be near 40 degrees. Highs temps by the end of the game will be in the middle 40s.

Saturday evening will be colder with temps in the upper 30s under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday night will be fair and chilly with lows near 30 or in the 20s. Potted plants and pets will need to stay indoors.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, less windy and cool. Afternoon temps will be between 50 and 55 degrees. Baseball fans must remember their sunglasses and sun block for another 1pm match-up. Sunday night will be chilly and cloudier with lows near 35.

Monday will be cloudy with rain returning and temps near 45 degrees. Showers linger into Tuesday with highs near 50. Sunshine returns Wednesday.
