People will need jackets and gloves Thursday morning in Detroit because temperatures will be near a chilly 40 degrees.  Fortunately, it will be dry for drivers with a bright day ahead after a beautiful 6:17am sunrise.  Thursday afternoon will be mostly sunny with highs near 65 degrees, which is close to average.  Thursday night will be chilly again with lows in the 40s.

Friday will have abundant sunshine again and be warmer.  A gorgeous afternoon will be very Spring-like with highs in the low 70s.

Mothers' Day Weekend will be beautiful for all Mothers.  Saturday will have partly sunny skies and daytime temperatures near 75 degrees.  The only chance of rain will be Saturday night, and it should be brief.

Mothers' Day Sunday will be partly sunny, too, and a little cooler.  Morning lows will be near 50.  Afternoon highs will be near 65.

Monday and Tuesday will become milder again with highs near 70 and mostly sunny skies.
