Friday morning will be partly cloudy to mostly clear and dry for drivers and students and workers going to and from the bus stop. Clearer skies will allow more heat to radiate to space, so it will be very cold. Temperatures start in the middle and upper teens. Some wind chills will be in the single digits.

Friday afternoon will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy with winter-like cold. Highs will be in the upper 20s.

It remains dry for the Auto Show's Charity Preview at Cobo Hall. Temps will be in the low and middle 20s for party-goers. Dressing with overcoats, hats, scarves and gloves is certainly a great idea.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and chilly. Families going to and from services or the North American International Auto Show when it opens to the public will have dry conditions, but they'll have to stay warm, again. Highs will be near freezing in the afternoon.

Sunday will be sunnier with higher temps. Afternoon readings will be in the middle 30s under mostly sunny skies.

On Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, daytime temps will be higher, again. Temps will be in the low 40s in the afternoon, but another low pressure system will bring rain. Wet weather continues Tuesday and Wednesday with highs still above average; in the low 40s and upper 30s.
