DETROIT - Storms are building from the west and southwest of the Detroit metro area.
A line of thunderstorms is moving through Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo heading towards the east this evening. The storms have produced wind damage across western Michigan this afternoon. But we are not anticipating anything too wild around Metro Detroit.
No watches or warnings here yet and no official risk of severe weather. Expect scattered storms after sunset at 9 p.m. with some soaking rains, gusty winds, and lightning. We will track the weather from the Local 4 Weather office and you can track along with us at JustWeather.com.
More storm chances on Father's Day so stay tuned to Local 4 News at 11pm tonight.
