Wednesday will start with cloudy skies, but sunshine will eventually emerge, at least in a few peeks, by late in the day. Temperatures will be cooler, barely touching 50 degrees. Winds will be breezy throughout the day.

The warmest day of the forecast will be Thursday, and it will end up barely above average. Highs will be in the upper 50s, with plenty of sunshine.

Temperatures will start moving in the other direction Friday, with highs in the mid-40s. On Friday and through the weekend, we’ll have 30-degree starts, the coldest of which will be Saturday, when we’ll be below freezing across the area. That will be the first sub-freezing temperature at Detroit Metro Airport this season.

Dry conditions will remain until next Tuesday.
