Coldest readings are expected toward the Ohio Border Thursday morning where actual temperatures are expected to dip to around -5 degrees.

There is an increased risk of frostbite and hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Snow squalls are expected to continue this afternoon especially along the I-94 Corridor. Westerly winds gusting around 30 miles per hour will also produce blowing snow. Most locations will see little in the way of snow accumulations.

However, squalls will quickly reduce visibilities to a quarter mile or less with a quick half inch or so of snow accumulation. Temperatures will continue to hover in the teen, assuring snow-covered and/or icy roads. Motorists are urged to use caution and be prepared for possible hazardous driving conditions.
