DETROIT – The 4 Live Radar is tracking some rain showers well north of Detroit. There will be a light shower at times Wednesday night, or patches of drizzle.
Temperatures will slide into the low to mid-30s, which will change precipitation over to snow. Moisture amounts will be light, so most of us will see no accumulation. Our North Zone might get enough snow to cover the ground in spots, but there will be less than an inch.
On Thursday, widely scattered light snow showers will gradually fade through the day. There's no accumulation expected for most of us. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 30s.
Thursday will bring our warmest temperatures until early next week. Temperatures will be close to normal with highs in the low 30s through the weekend. Lows will be in the 20s.
Now about the sun: Clouds will start breaking up a bit on Sunday and even more on Monday. Even with a return to clouds and possibly some accumulating snow on Tuesday, we will see more of the sun during the second half of next week.
