Flooding caused some traffic problems Monday evening as it forced Interstate 75 to be shut down in both directions at Interstate 94 in Detroit.

Showers and thunderstorms gradually end from south to north during the first half of the night (so, those of you along and north of I-69 may not see the rain end until after midnight). If the wind decreases enough overnight, then widespread fog will develop. Right now, my computer models suggest that we'll have a 5 to 7 mph wind, which may be enough to prevent too much fog...but it'll be close. Lows in the mid 60s.

Our Tuesday should start mostly cloudy, but dry. Showers and thunderstorms then likely fire up in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. West-southwest wind at 8 to 13 mph.

Showers and thunderstorms end mid Tuesday evening. Lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Partly cloudy on Wednesday, with highs in the mid 70s. Becoming mostly clear Wednesday night, with lows in the mid 50s.

Mostly sunny on Thursday, with highs in the low to mid 70s. Mostly clear Thursday night, with lows in the low to mid 50s.

Mostly sunny on Friday, with highs in the mid 70s. Mostly clear Friday night, with lows in the mid 50s.
