DETROIT – Clouds are beginning to roll in but the rain is falling elsewhere.
Morning temps are mild with some patchy fog in the usual spots with low temps in the mid 50s to low 60s.
Tuesday afternoon brings a little more warmth as highs hit 78 to 80 degrees with a chance for a few scattered afternoon rain and thundershowers.
But, it doesn't look very widespread or concerning.
A change is coming tomorrow and we need to watch this one closely.
Wednesday will be calm to start but SE Lower Michigan is under a threat for severe weather by the afternoon.
A cold front will be sliding in our direction with noticeably cooler air.
The atmosphere will be ripe for storms with gusty and damaging winds and a few cold air funnels and tornadoes.
Highs will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees before the wet weather arrives.
Keep your eyes to the skies after 1 or 2pm tomorrow for the start of a stormy day.
