Warming up with showers and storms

Highs rocket to the 80s, showers possible

DETROIT – In the wake of a warm front Wednesday, scattered showers and storms develop and temperatures increase. The morning will be mild with temps near 60, and the afternoon will be very warm with highs near 85. The best chance of showers and thunderstorms will be in the morning and midday with partly sunny skies. The Tigers/Astros game may be affected in the early afternoon.

Wednesday night will have great sleeping weather. It will be partly cloudy and cooler with lows in the low 50s.

Thursday will not be as warm but be delightful with sunshine and highs in the middle and upper 70s. Friday will be mostly sunny and mild with highs closer to 70.

Local 4 looks forward to seeing everyone at Comerica Park Saturday morning for Race 4 The Cure. The morning will be in the mild 50s. It will be partly to mostly cloudy, and the afternoon will be near 70.
