ANN ARBOR – The Randazzo Dance Company presents three performances of Tchaikovsky’s "The Nutcracker" at the Skyline High School Theater beginning on Saturday, Dec. 2.
It will mark the 49th year that the city of Ann Arbor has come together for this annual treat full of snow and sugar plums. Adding to the magic this year are special guest artists Hannah Bettes and Lawrence Rines, of the Boston Ballet, and guest dancers from the University of Michigan.

On the production side, artistic director Sara Randazzo -- with help from Roya Panahi, Audrey Slough and Christine Sampier -- has added new choreography that will bring a fun and fresh take on the classic tale, while the dance company's clever storytelling, professional quality sets and elegant costuming will make this year's performance of "The Nutcracker" truly a must-see.
