Excessive Heat Watch Wednesday & Thursday
Temperatures move slightly higher with a bit more humidity over the next couple days. That will push heat index readings to near 100 at times. It will also keep mornings warmer and muggier. After six straight days of 90 degree heat, be alert for heat stress. Stay hydrated, limit physical exertion, and do not leave kids and pets in cars.
Air Quality Alert has been extended to Wednesday for ozone. That's another reason to take it easy.
Storms tonight in the South Zone are fading on Storm Tracker 4. We have small chances the next two days, but widespread storms are expected when a cold front arrives Friday afternoon.
