Single Digit Start, Weekend Snow In Sight
THUR: Most of Metro Detroit is waking up to temps in the mid teens with wind chills in the single digits and at times, subzero! Bundle up. Highs will only hit the low 20s as a skies become partly sunny with a few lake effect flakes coming and going. A bigger band of snow is coming off of Lake Huron into London, Ontario so be careful driving through that.
FRI: Single digit lows with light winds and mostly clear skies. Yes, bright sunshine tomorrow so try and soak up that free Vitamin D. Highs again will hold in the low to mid 20s while our average high this time of year is 32F.
SAT: Single digits in the morning with increasing clouds and breezes through the day. Highs in the mid to upper 20s and winds SW 10-20mph. Snow showers will move through midday or early afternoon into the evening with just a dusting here in Metro Detroit.
SUN: Another afternoon snow chance with teens and mid 20s. We will likely see a healthier dusting Sunday afternoon and evening.
There's a good chance for shovelable snow late Monday into Tuesday morning with a few inches or more possible. Computer model updates have not been consistent so we will hold off on exactly what to expect so, stay tuned!
