Forecast Update: What Was Simple, Becomes Tricky Weekend Weather
THIS MORNING: Hazy sunshine with temps in the upper 60s to low 70s as you head out and about around Metro Detroit.
TODAY: Becoming partly cloudy to partly sunny with more moisture streaming in from the south. That means more humidity and more clouds with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Winds E 5-10 mph, and a few scattered afternoon soakers. Nothing too crazy, but a few downpours with lightning possible.
SATURDAY: Warm and muggy but with more and more cloud cover. So, highs may stay in the low 80s, but will be warmer with some midday sun. There is a Marginal Risk for Severe Storms Saturday late afternoon and evening. That's a weak risk, but a small handful of storms could produce damaging winds.
SUNDAY: Another wave or front moves through midday with highs in the low to mid 80s. So, scattered rain and thunderstorms are possible in the early afternoon as that front approaches.
BOTTOM LINE: Yes, we have rain chances the next few days, but no washouts! Keep the Local4Casters App handy so you can track radar and any delays in your afternoon plans.
