Midweek Mix & Tracking Weekend Trouble
TUE: It has been a nice and pleasant Tuesday here in Metro Detroit as highs flirt with 50F. High, harmless clouds are coming and going, and you are good to go with any plans this evening with temps in the middle to upper 40s.
WED: A dry start with morning temps in the low to middle 30s. Highs will come midday in the middle 40s before a cold front blows through here. Look for some light to moderate rain and snow between 11am and 2pm with a few spots (mainly north of M 59) getting a dusting of the white stuff. The winds will be cranking SW/NW 10-25 gusting 30-40mph at times. We should get back into some sunshine after 3-4pm as temps cool down through the 30s.
THUR: It will be the coldest morning of the week with teens to low 20s. Brrr! A dry day on tap as we anticipate a big Friday and Saturday storm system. It's mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the middle to upper 40s.
A light wintry mix is possible late, late Thursday with scattered showers mainly coming and going on Friday morning. Look for scattered rain and isolated thundershowers Friday as highs try to climb to near 60F. It will be windy and quite gusty Friday and Saturday. Watch out! The heaviest rain and thunderstorms will blow through Friday night into early Saturday with some soaking showers. The first half of Saturday is sketchy with rain possibly switching to some light snow into the afternoon as we cool down a little bit. Sunday looks to be the much nicer of the two weekend days ahead with sun returning and highs near 50F.
