LeVert played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks last season, averaging 12.1 points per game, 3.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 46.7% from the field.
Now 30, LeVert has played nine seasons in the NBA for the Brooklyn Nets, Indiana Pacers, Cavaliers, and the Hawks.
The former Wolverines etched his name in program history by playing in 103 career games, becoming the 64th player in school history to reach 100 or more games.
Despite battling injuries that limited him to just 35 games over his final two seasons, LeVert finished with an impressive 98 wins, just six shy of Michigan’s all-time record of 104.
LeVert was a key contributor to three NCAA Tournament teams (2013, 2014, 2016).
He was part of Michigan’s back-to-back Elite Eight appearances in 2013 and 2014, as well as the memorable 2013 Final Four and national championship game run.
LeVert’s accolades include All-Big Ten second-team honors from both coaches and media in 2014, two preseason All-Big Ten selections (2015, 2016), and recognition on the USBWA All-District V Team and the NCAA Tournament All-Midwest Regional Team in 2014.
In 2014, LeVert earned Michigan’s Rudy Tomjanovich Most Improved Player and Steve Grote Hustle awards, highlighting his growth and tenacity on the court.
One of his career highlights came on Dec. 15, 2015, when he recorded Michigan’s fourth-ever triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against Northern Kentucky.
During his senior season (2015-16), LeVert was marked by strong performances before a foot injury cut his campaign short.
He started the first 14 games, averaging a team-best 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists, including a season-high 29 points against Xavier in the inaugural Gavitt Games.
After missing 21 games due to injury and rehabilitation, LeVert returned briefly before announcing he would not return for the remainder of the season.
As a junior (2014-15), LeVert saw another season-ending foot injury after 18 starts.
Before the injury, he averaged 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, highlighted by a career-best 32 points against NJIT.
He helped Michigan secure key wins over Syracuse, Oregon, and Ohio State and was a defensive force with 32 steals.
During his sophomore season (2013-14), LeVert was a steady presence, starting all 37 games and averaging 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
He helped Michigan win its first outright Big Ten regular-season title in 28 years and contributed to historic wins over three top-10 opponents in a row.
He posted his first career double-double and ranked third on the team with 60 three-pointers made.
As a freshman (2012-13), LeVert played a vital role off the bench in Michigan’s run to the Final Four and national championship game, the program’s first appearance in two decades.
Originally slated to redshirt, LeVert was inserted into the lineup after six games and finished the season averaging 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 33 games.
His collegiate debut came Dec. 1, 2012, at Bradley, and he started his first game against Central Michigan, scoring nine points with five assists.
LeVert was part of Michigan’s first NIT Season Tip-Off championship team and helped the Wolverines start the season with a perfect 13-0 non-conference record.
